MINUTES FROM NOVEMBER 19, 2022 MEETING OF LANDOWNERS AND SUPERVISORS OF THE BERMONT DRAINAGE DISTRICT
A special meeting was called to elect new Board of Supervisors, as remaining two supervisors, Jack Porter and Jerry Greila, wished to resign their positions. The meeting was held on Saturday, Nov 19, 2022 and 10 am in the Club House at Paradise Park. The meeting was called to order at 10 am. Roll was taken, and it was determined that all Supervisors and a quorum of Landowners were present and/or had signed proxy’s to vote for others not attending.
Due and proper notice of the meeting was established. Attached to these minutes is the invoice from Sun Newspapers confirming the Notice of Meeting was published on Nov 12, 2022.
The Landowners then proceeded to elect 4 Supervisors: Austin Bessette, Michelle Loch, Linda McHugh and Marie Tomlinson. There were no other nominations. The following individuals were elected to serve as Supervisors of the District.
New Board of Supervisors
• Austin Bessette, President
• Michelle Loch, Vice President
• Linda McHugh, Treasurer
• Marie Tomlinson, Secretary
The new board members were provided with documentation to prepare them for their new roles. The board members decided to meet informally in a few weeks after they had assimilated all the information.
Jack Porter reminded us that the next 30 year renewal for Bermond Drainage District is March 2025.
