Taxes & Fees

The taxes, fees, assessments or charges of the Bermont Drainage District consist solely of an annual assessment of $2.20 for each acre of land located in the District’s boundaries per year. The statutory authority for the levy of taxes and assessments is set forth in, Laws of Florida, and is also found in Chapter 298 of the Florida Statutes.

Fiscal Year

The fiscal year of the District is from October 1 to September 30

Supervisors

The governing body of the District consists of three (3) Supervisors who were elected by the landowners in accordance with the provisions of Section 298.11 of the Florida Statutes. Each Supervisor serves a three (3) year term. The current Supervisors are as follows:
